Wed Jan 29 Day 8 Ultimate Reset. On to Phase 2 - Detox and full Vegan. Got to sleep in today because of the snow 6:11 hrs of sleep. Finally the greens are working (no need to elaborate)! Needed to beef up breakfast so I could have a light lunch before my Dr appointment, which messed up the timing of the Reset ritual.Was excited to get my blood work as I was hoping to see some major reductions in my cholesterol, and anything else I was off the scale on, along with receiving the C Reactive Protein (as recommended by UR). My last major blood work was April 2013, had cholesterol and TSH taken in July. With the major changes that I made starting Dec 2nd, I was expecting to see the hard work reflected in my blood work. YEA NOT SO MUCH.. WTF..
My cholesterol increased, Vit D decreased, TSH increased etc.. None of it was good, the only good thing was I had lost a bunch of weight since the last visit. Doc and I had a frank discussion, we talked about the new diet pill Qysmia. He is not a fan and was very concerned with the side effects etc. We decided to continue with the program I have been following. he was excited with my progress and upped my Armour Thyroid by 15 mg to 90 mg as my TSH was still high 2.54. He would like to see it in the 1.5 range. He also told me to increase my Vit D to 5,000 IU. Will get blood work again in ~ 6 weeks which will give my blood time to react to the dietary changes that I have made since Dec 2. Well it better DAMN IT!! We also discussed having another ultrasound on the thyroid growth in the late summer. If all is well then I can go 2 yrs before another ultrasound.
One last note.. my BP was high (normal due to my damn white coat syndrome), I had her take it again after and it was even higher.. OYE.. I checked it when I got home and it was still high. Not sure what is going on there so I will monitor and track it for my Physical next week. Not sure what is going on here as I have been keeping the BP under control and I have been drinking a ton of water and my sodium intake is 1/2+ of what I normally have. The only thing I can think of is maybe my body is a bit stressed by the changes. Who knows.. I want it fixed NOW.. heheee..

Noticeable changes
My knee and back are sore, but I do not want to take any pain meds while in detox, need to give the liver a break.
No bloating attack today, but noticing I am burping a great deal. I think this is from the acid reflux as I am not taking the meds. I really want to get off of it as they are not good for long term use.
Continuing on the no smoking outside of the house (in the car etc), only while home. Down to ~7. I bought some Nicorette over the weekend and tried it tonight. YUK.. first off I had a shock with the sugar in the gum, and it gave me a stomach ache. Not the answer.. need to just quit.
Body - Still cold today, minor headache (from the plug ins), dry brushed today, skin is still dry, redness
on the face is the same, minor break out on my face, my stomach was
hurting all day again, more energy but still a bit sluggish, burping, finally my bowels are moving a bit
Mind - clear, pissed - about the blood work and low weight loss
